Lupo Lamb Crochet Pattern
I spend a lot of time on trains. This captive time, albeit time with limited elbow room, is great for listening to an audiobook and doing a bit of crochet. The limited elbow room makes larger projects like jumpers a little difficult, but is ideal for little projects such as Lupo.
Pattern: The Doll Project #XIII, Lamb, Lupo
Designer: Lalylala
Materials: I used just over one 50g boule of Regia 4-Ply tweed, and just under one boule of Regia 4-ply brown – the yarn itself is 75% new wool and 25% polyamide – so washable.

I completed this little guy over the course of about two weeks, largely, as I say, on the train.
Design:
He’s really cute, standing about 30 cms tall, I think he’ll make a lovely first Christmas present for my friend’s daughter, if only I can work out how to do the eyes.
Instructions:
They were really clear and easy to follow – even when getting on and off the train. There was very little need for me to fudge my way through any of the sections, and the monotony of SCs is broken by the bobble stitch, which, after the first round, was actually a lot of fun.

Overall:
He’s a great pattern for someone with a little skill, looking for a fun project. So long as you know your SCs from your DCs, and you’re not put off by the thinness of the yarn, it’s easy enough to follow and manageable steps to a very good looking outcome. For the accomplished crocheter, this is a great little project to fill the corners.
Best of all, he’s just one of a menagerie, so making him some friends will keep my commutes busy for a while yet!
